The Mysteries Of The Throne Wk2

Spiritual Indifference

Mysteries Of The Throne Of God Revealed, Wk2

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!

So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Revelation 3:15-16

1. Self-sufficiency.

Revelation 3:17 You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize  that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

2. Distractions of this world.

Mark 4:19 But the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Living with Lukewarm Indifference

1. We’re more concerned with impressing people than living for God.

2. We’re obsessed with life on earth rather than eternity.

3. We rationalize sin and live without truly fearing God.

4. We believe in Jesus, but we rarely share our faith.

5. We only turn to God when we need him.

6. We’re not much different from the world.

Reigniting the Spiritual Fire

Every day, do something that requires faith.

Revelation 3:19 NLT I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
