Act 1 — We Got This!

Nothing will expose what you’re trusting faster

than a season where you stop praying because things are going well.


Competence can quietly replace prayer

when the problem looks manageable.

Act 2 — We Don’t Got This

“Has the Lord brought us out here to destroy us?” (2 Kings 3:10)


finances collapse (Matthew 6:25)

a diagnosis worsens (Psalm 41:3)

relationships unravel (Psalm 34:18)

anxiety spikes overnight (Psalm 94:19)



We are always desperate for God—we just don’t always realize it.

Act 3 — A Great Idea

“Is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord?”
