WHAT IS MAN CAMP?
Call this a Relaunch of Men’s Ministry with our first annual Illinois District Man Camp – IGNITED!
Join men around the state for a powerful weekend of worship, fellowship, time around the altar, and time around the bonfire.
Men matter, and we have an important role to play, and what God is doing around our communities and around the world.
Mission:
Helping Men build healthy relationships with God, their families, and each other.
Purpose:
· To extend Faith, Hope and Love to the men of our church and community
· To equip them with the truth of God’s Word for success in every area of life.
· To employ the gifts of the Spirit in every environment God has placed us.
· To evangelize the World through giving, sending, and going.
WHO IS SPEAKING?
Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesús was appointed U.S. Missions Director of the Assemblies of God in April of 2024. He served as general treasurer from 2019-2024. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
He served as lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church in Chicago from 2000-2019. During that time, the church grew to 17,000 adherents globally through church campuses, plants, and more than 75 ministries that reach the most disenfranchised: the poor, homeless, prostitutes, drug addicts, and gang members.
De Jesús is the first Latino to serve on the Executive Leadership Team. In 2013, he was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world and recognized for his leadership and influence within the evangelical and Latino communities. De Jesús is the author of Amazing Faith, In the Gap, Stay the Course, Move into More, and Love Them Anyway.
De Jesús holds a doctorate degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.
He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three adult children and seven grandchildre

8 AM – BREAKFAST
9 AM – MORNING SESSION
11 AM – CHURCH/SECTION CONNECT
12 PM – LUNCH
1 PM – WORKSHOPS
2 PM – CLIMBING WALLS, AXE THROWING, CLAY PIGEONS, OPEN GYM, BOARD GAMES, ZIP LINE (LIMITED SPACE – RESERVATION REQUIRED)
3 PM – CLOSING SESSION
WHAT DOES IT COST?
All costs below are per person and include all meals and registration fee.
Lodge Rooms may be purchased either one person per room ($185 per person Single Occupancy) or two people per room ($145 per person Double Occupancy).
The Dorm Room cost is the same per person ($110) regardless of how many people are in the room.
The Tent/RV cost is the same per person ($60) regardless of how many people are staying in the tent or RV.
