66 After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. 67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

- Ask: “Where else would I go for truth?”
2. When obedience feels costly
- Ask: “Where else would I go for life?”

- Ask: “Where else would I go for hope?”
We serve an extraordinary God,
who uses ordinary people,
to change the world
4. When you’re tempted to drift
- Drifting leads to emptiness.
- Surrender leads to life.
- Jesus leads to joy.
Practical Steps
- Recommit daily: “Jesus, I’m staying close.”
- Reopen Scripture even when you don’t feel like it.
- Reengage community even when it’s inconvenient.
- Reenter obedience even when it’s costly.
“Jesus, we’re not going anywhere.
You alone have the words of eternal life.”
