Matthew 16:26
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?”

Matthew 16:24–26 (ESV)
24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world
and forfeits his soul?
Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

“knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers… with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.”
“Your soul is priceless”
Jesus’ death proves your soul’s value.

“But God said to him, ‘Fool!
This night your soul is required of you…’
So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
Jesus wants you to live a truly full life

1. Identify Your ‘World’
1 John 2:15 ESV
“Do not love the world or the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

2. Reorder Your Priorities
Matthew 6:33 ESV
“But seek first the kingdom of God
and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Scripture before screens. Prayer before pressure. Worship before worry.
Mark 8:35 ESV
“For whoever would save his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.”
Pray: “Lord, show me what I’ve been trading—and help me choose You.”
Nothing in this world is worth losing what God calls priceless—your soul.
